The Embera, an Indigenous people from Panama and Colombia live simply in the jungle. We journeyed into the jungle to document the life of Emberá Purú Biakurú, a small Indigenous community located on the Chagres River, in Panama. The Embera gave us the honor of living with them and authentically capturing their culture, their struggles, conflicts, motives, desires and aspirations. To play with their children, learn from their elders, dance to their music, and join them on their hunt for food.
