(pathology) A condition where one's mental (the mind's eye) is extremely realistic, to the point of confusion with reality.
A kid with hyperphantasia often goes into the forest near his house to play. He sees himself as a mercenary who is out to kill an evil general.
This project was written, produced and directed by Emerson Cole. A Chicago filmmaker who graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May, 2021.

Hyperphantasia is an idea I have been wanting to bring to the screen for a very long time. I wrote, directed, and produced this film with the help of some fantastic filmmakers from Chicago. All of which I have worked with in the past in school or professional filmmaking work.
A lot of the crew had been working with me on a feature film that was really rough mentally and physically. So we wanted to make something that we all felt was fun and that we all can call the shots the way we wanted.
