Za (Weed) RODE Reel 2021 Entry

This is our entry to RODE Reel 2021.
We wantd to write a story that was more personal to us so we settled on the motif of how the only difference between weeds and bonsais is our value judgement of them.
This is related to us in our personal storytelling of a daughter who wants to grow her talents and aspirations but is unable to do so due to her mother seeing no value in it.

We faced multiple challenges inclusing inclement weather that distrupted our packed shooting day. Even so, we hope that this film managed to bring across a message that resonates with you.
