we are living in a time, where we are forced to constantly prove our worth, but it’s hard to show our values unless we have somehow made it. We are thus forced to come up with various of excuses as to why we haven’t made something of ourselves, and I found that very interesting. By utilizing the ‘happy balloon’ as a metaphor for something that is both terrible but is a necessity to junkies, I wanted to show the journey of underdogs who seek validations while producing excuses not to fail at life
