Rivers are low lying areas, and as a result, the pollution caused by human beings primarily dissipates toward these unidirectional water bodies. The contamination of rivers with pollutants leads to the depletion of marine life. This directly affects the livelihood of fishing communities who are dependent on a good day's catch. This documentary is a valuable collection of the on-ground experiences, opinions and grievances that a traditional fisherman and fishnet artisan hailing from Goa.
