Behind the Scenes of Ode to Salt | My Rode Reel 2021
A compilation of small moments captured creating this Anglo-Spanish telling of Pablo Neruda's Oda a la Sal. Includes how I got the VO without a recorder using the Rode VideoMic Pro+. Without the means to travel, I furnished a large part of the story through cinematic stock, considering the need to cover a vast story requiring varied subject matter. Stuff left out include filming of some salt macros, various b-roll film burns, SFX recordings and the sourcing and shooting of a vintage typewriter.
