MADAM is a short film exploring the story of Daniel Marquez & Madam Nymphadora. When Dan became HIV positive, the stigma and pressure they experienced led to a crisis, and from that crisis emerged Madam Nymphadora, a drag entertainer and development educator from Lincoln Nebraska. At the core of this project is a desire to create dialogue around the way our status affects our ideas about identity, and provide support for others who are going through a similar journey.
